Our Executive Committee

The Group Executive Committee plays a vital role in the running of a Scout Group. Executive Committees make decisions and carry out administrative tasks to ensure that the best quality Scouting can be delivered to young people in the Group.

 

The Group executive committee serves as the groups charity trustees and are responsible for various aspects of the smooth running of the Scout Group.

 

The Group Executive Committee is made up of four types of members; ex-officio members, elected members, nominated members and co-opted members. The members of the group executive committee is normally;

• The Group Scout Leader,

• The group chairperson,

• The group secretary,

• The group treasurer,

• Other committee members.

 

Currently, our executive committee is made up of;

• Cameron Maguire, our Group Scout Leader,

• Dave Sharp, Our Group Chairperson,

• Marie Maher, Our Group Secretary,

• Gillian Morrison, Our Group Treasurer.
